Brazil is the largest country in South America and it is a country with exquisite Amazon forests, beautiful beaches and the world-wide known Carnival. It is indeed a nice place to visit because there are a lot of beautiful spots that are worth more than just a simple look. For example, let's take the Fernando de Noronha Island which is one of the most visited places in Brazil mainly because of its beautiful landscapes.
Belm is the capital of the Par state and a great place to visit for those tourists that are on the look for amazing Amazon adventures. It also has one of the busiest ports in Brazil - approximately 60 miles upriver from the Atlantic Ocean. The city also attracts thousands of visitors every year thanks to its modern skyscrapers, colonial sections, lovely churches and tree-filled squares.

Another interesting location to visit is Brasilia, the result of a modern urban project created by Lcio Costa. It has very nice colonial buildings and beautiful fin-de siecle buildings around the Praca da Liberdade. Pampulha Center, Belo Horizonte Museum of Art, Yacht Club, the House of Juscelino Kubitschek, Iemanj monument, the Dancing Academy are a must if you plan on visiting this town as they offer a lot of interesting sights.

The most popular place to visit among tourists is undoubtedly Rio de Janeiro. This city has plenty to offer: perfect colonial buildings, wonderful golden sand beaches (Copacabana, Ipanema) and breathtaking stadiums. Some of the most recommended places to visit are: Candomb, Bal Focloric, Afro-Brazilian Museum, Cana Brava Records, Carmo, Barra and Rio Vermelho. The city has multicolored homes, a unique market, nice beaches and about 300 churches! More than that, there are about 600 fully restored buildings thanks to UNESCO.

Sao Paulo is the largest city in South America and the third largest city in the world. It is a cosmopolitan city with many minority communities like Japanese, Arabs, Italians and others. If you want to eat the best food in the country, you have arrived to the best place as they have the most tasteful barbecue meat and feijoada (pork and beans which is only served on Wednesdays and Saturdays).
